Material Handler

· Performing cycle counts and stock checks as required

· Reconciling shortages and issues in conjunction with Program Managers and Purchasing team

· Counting residual stock and restocking in correct locations as required

· Perform other related duties as assigned

· Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Company

· High school diploma is an asset

· Recent stockroom or material handling experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment

· Experience with component preparation is strongly preferred

· Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings

· Familiarity with inventory management systems and principles (FIFO, cycle counts, KANBAN) is and asset

· Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

· Team-oriented with the ability to support production staff

Working conditions

· Shift work may include days or evenings

· Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching

· Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required

· Exposure to moving equipment, machinery, and warehouse traffic

· Moderate exposure to noise, machinery, and chemicals

Physical requirements

· Manual dexterity required for handling small electronic components

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

· Repetitive lifting, carrying, and handling of materials
