Material Handler

RIMOWA has a unique opportunity for a Material Handler to join the Materials CREW at our Cambridge facility.

Strong ability to multi-task with a high level of organizational skills, problem solving, decision making and written & oral communication

The preferred candidate will be self-motivated, energetic and well organized, a great team player with the ability to work independently

Capability to differentiate between colour sample for a variety of materials

Must be certified to operate counterbalance forklift

Ability to adapt and learn quickly

Must be able to accurately maintain a counting system both manually and computerized

1-2 years of experience with inventory maintenance and manufacturing processes and standards would be an asset

Experience with MS Excel and other application software is an asset.

Ability to read, understand, and follow production schedules

Excellent communication skills

Work under pressure, attention to detail, fast paced, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, significant use of memory, continuous learning.

Moderate lifting, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication.

Ability to commute/relocate: Cambridge, ON N3E 1B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
