China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting Material QA/QC Engineer to join our QA/QC Team for a Large Scale project in Dubai.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit material-related Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct and coordinate material inspections in line with project specifications and approved ITPs.
- Ensure all material testing is carried out as per approved method statements, ITPs, and applicable standards.
- Monitor and verify calibration status of all laboratory and site testing equipment.
- Review material submittals, technical data sheets, and compliance certificates prior to approval.
- Raise internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Quality Violations (QVs) related to materials, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Liaise with consultants and third-party laboratories to resolve material-related quality issues.
- Track and ensure timely closure of material-related NCRs in coordination with stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all QA/QC material activities as per the Project Quality Plan and IMS requirements.
- Prepare QA/QC monthly reports and project KPI reports related to materials.
- Support snagging and de-snagging activities related to material finishes and compliance.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure awareness of material inspection and testing requirements before commencing activities.
- Assist in preparing handover documentation, including material approvals, test reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in internal and external audits in coordination with the corporate QHSE department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ Years of relevant work experience
