Overview
- Responsible for controlling the flow of materials received from clients and Company Suppliers and delivering them to the construction team according to Company policies and procedures.
- Receive, inspect, and store materials and deliver to applicable personnel on the project according to the project schedule and coordinate with Quality Control and Procurement Departments.
- Ensure the availability of a minimum stock of regular materials.
- Ensure the consistent supply of materials to the construction.
- Ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs.
- Responsible for receiving stock of repeated materials as per norms.
- Material Accounting – project & assets.
- Preservation & storing practices.
- Perpetual inventory.
- Annual stock taking.
- Annual Material handling system.
- Write-off proposal for excess & obsolete items.
