Role Summary
The role is titled Master Scheduler and is described in the body as a Material Planner.
The primary function is planning and scheduling materials to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
The role coordinates with engineering, purchasing, sales, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Determine delivery times after checking inventory.
- Review customer order details, including identity numbers, prices, delivery times, addresses, and specifications.
- Provide internal and external customers with order status updates and expedite information.
- Request quotes and initiate purchase orders.
- Control incoming and outgoing inventory against orders.
- Schedule suppliers and check delivery dates, reconciliations, and related information.
- Support warehouse activities such as receiving, inspection, packaging, and shipping.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and reporting.
Requirements
- A BE in Mechanical Engineering or a diploma in a relevant field is required.
- The role requires 8 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint is required.
