Role Overview

Provide massage and body treatment services to guests at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts.

Assess guest needs and contraindications before beginning each service.

Maintain guest comfort, safety, and a professional service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide massage services using appropriate accessories and products.
  • Provide body treatments using scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
  • Stay current with techniques and modalities related to massage therapy.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and prepare work areas, treatment rooms, linens, supplies, and equipment.
  • Promote spa services and related retail products.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize instruments and keep work areas sanitary.
  • Follow schedules and company procedures for inappropriate guest behavior.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions and complete safety training.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate their service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, and handling objects under 10 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • A state or regional massage license is mandatory.
  • Massage skills and licensing must remain current according to regional requirements.
  • At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
  • A technical, trade, or vocational school qualification is desirable.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

  • The position is full time.
  • The role is located at the Le Méridien property in Lusail, Qatar.
