Position Overview

The position is a full-time, non-management Massage Therapist role in the Spa category at Le Méridien in Lusail, Qatar.

The role is performed at the hotel location and is not remote.

Service Responsibilities

  • Provide massage services using accessories and products.
  • Provide body treatments using scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
  • Assess client needs and contraindications before beginning services.
  • Stay current with techniques and modalities related to the work.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and prepare treatment spaces.
  • Check with clients during services to support comfort and safety.
  • Promote and sell spa, salon, and related retail services.

Workstation and Safety

  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and keep treatment areas clean during each shift.
  • Dispose of waste and soiled linens and secure supplies and equipment at shift end.
  • Monitor the daily schedule and follow procedures for inappropriate client behavior.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the manager.
  • Follow safety training, company policies, confidentiality requirements, and property-protection procedures.

Qualifications

  • A state or regional massage license or certification is required.
  • At least one year of related work experience is recommended.
  • A technical, trade, or vocational diploma is recommended.
  • Current skills and licenses must be maintained according to regional requirements.
  • The role requires clear, courteous communication and positive working relationships.
  • The role requires prolonged standing, sitting, or walking and handling objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
