Role Overview
The Massage Therapist is a full-time, onsite role based at the resort in Doha, Qatar.
The role provides relaxation and therapeutic bodywork tailored to guests’ needs and wellness goals.
Responsibilities
- Assess guest requirements, recommend treatments, and provide professional massage and bodywork sessions.
- Prepare therapy rooms, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure safe and comfortable guest experiences.
- Work with spa and resort teams, promote spa services, and follow resort policies and procedures.
- Maintain treatment records and contribute to a calm, welcoming spa environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, active listening, and professional guest-service skills are required.
- Proficiency in relaxation, stress-relief, therapeutic massage, and Shiatsu or similar modalities is required.
- Relevant massage therapy certification or diploma is required, with licensing or registration where applicable.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage contraindications is required.
- High hygiene standards, professional ethics, confidentiality, and conversational English are required.
- Flexible availability for weekends and holidays is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous massage therapy experience in a spa, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Additional languages are advantageous.
