Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials according to project specifications.
- Construct and repair walls, foundations, walkways, patios, and other structures.
- Mix mortar, cement, and grout to required specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Measure and cut materials accurately.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of masonry work.
- Repair damaged masonry structures and surfaces.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and construction regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other construction workers to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mason, Bricklayer, or similar construction role
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
