- Prepare furniture surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking
- Mix paints, stains, lacquers, and coatings according to specifications
- Operate spray painting equipment to apply smooth, even finishes
- Match colors and finishes to customer or production requirements
- Apply primers, sealers, stains, paints, varnishes, and clear protective coatings
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch ups
- Maintain spray guns, compressors, booths, and other painting equipment
- Ensure proper drying and curing of painted furniture
- Follow quality control standards to achieve consistent finishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Report equipment issues or material shortages to supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience as a Furniture Spray Painter or Industrial Spray Painter
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques, wood finishing, and coating applications
- Familiarity with paint mixing, color matching, and finishing materials
- Ability to operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures and use of PPE

Job Summary
- The Furniture Spray Painter is responsible for preparing, finishing, and spray painting furniture and wood products to achieve high quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking as required.
- Mix paints, stains, lacquers, and coatings according to specifications.
- Operate spray painting equipment to apply smooth, even finishes.
- Match colors and finishes to customer or production requirements.
- Apply primers, sealers, stains, paints, varnishes, and clear protective coatings.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch ups when necessary.
- Maintain spray guns, compressors, booths, and other painting equipment.
- Ensure proper drying and curing of painted furniture.
- Follow quality control standards to achieve consistent finishes.

Qualifications
