About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and communications calendar
- Draft, edit, and proofread high quality content in English across website copy, social media posts, event invitations, press releases, and promotional materials
- Manage and grow arbitrateAD's presence across social media platforms
- Monitor media coverage and industry developments, preparing regular communications and media monitoring reports
- Maintain and update the arbitrateAD website
- Support preparation and distribution of press releases, media statements, and briefing notes
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, legal publications, and industry partners
- Lead planning, organisation, and delivery of conferences, seminars, workshops, roundtables, and stakeholder events
- Manage all event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, catering, AV, registration systems, and on site coordination
- Support outreach to law firms, corporations, academic institutions, and other regional stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, PR, communications, or events management
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English
- Solid experience managing events end to end, including vendor and logistics coordination
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram), and content management systems
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Full professional proficiency in English is essential
- Proficiency in Arabic (written and/or spoken) is preferred

Role Overview
- arbitrateAD is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Marketing & PR Officer to support the Centre's growing communications, events, and outreach activities.
- This role sits at the intersection of communications, public relations, and events management.

Marketing & Communications
- Support the development and execution of arbitrateAD's marketing strategies, campaigns, and communications calendar.
- Draft, edit, and proofread high quality content in English across a range of formats.
- Manage and grow arbitrateAD's presence across social media platforms.
- Monitor media coverage and industry developments, preparing regular reports.
- Maintain and update the arbitrateAD website.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred for bilingual content production.
Public Relations
- Support the preparation and distribution of press releases, media statements, and briefing notes.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, legal publications, and industry partners.
- Assist in managing the Centre's public image and brand reputation.
- Maintain and regularly update media contact lists.
- Monitor and respond to reputational developments.
Events & Conference Coordination
- Lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of conferences, seminars, workshops, roundtables, and stakeholder events.
- Manage all event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, catering, AV, registration systems, and on site coordination.
- Prepare and manage guest lists, speaker invitations, and attendee communications.
- Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and co hosting organisations.
- Manage on site event execution, including branding, signage, registration desks.
- Prepare post event reports, attendance data, media summaries, and follow up communications.
- Maintain an annual events calendar.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Support arbitrateAD's outreach to law firms, corporations, academic institutions, and other regional stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining partnerships with arbitration related organisations.
- Represent arbitrateAD professionally at external events, conferences, and community engagements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, PR, communications, or events management.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Solid experience managing events end to end.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
