Role Overview

  • The Marketing Executive (Exhibitions) is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns to drive audience acquisition and engagement for international trade exhibitions and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute multi channel marketing campaigns for exhibitions and conferences.
  • Drive audience acquisition strategies targeting exhibitors, visitors, delegates, sponsors, and media.
  • Collaborate with sales, content, operations, and design teams to align marketing plans with event objectives and commercial targets.
  • Create and manage promotional content across digital platforms (email marketing, social media, websites) and offline channels.
  • Work with industry partners, associations, and media partners to enhance reach and visibility.
  • Manage campaign timelines, ensuring timely delivery of marketing assets and activities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using KPIs such as registrations, conversions, engagement, and ROI.
  • Support database management, segmentation, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, audience insights, and positioning opportunities.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors where required.
  • Support on site marketing execution during events, including branding, attendee engagement, and promotional activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in exhibition/event marketing within a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of exhibition audience acquisition and funnel management
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (email campaigns, social media, paid media, CRM systems)
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and content development skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Creative thinking with a results driven mindset

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 2 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on exhibitions, trade shows, or large scale B2B events
  • Hands on experience in campaign execution for exhibitions is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with event marketing tools, CRM platforms, and marketing automation systems

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in visitor, delegate, and exhibitor registrations
  • Campaign conversion rates and ROI
  • Lead generation and database growth
  • Engagement across marketing channels
  • Timely execution of campaign plans and deliverables
  • Contribution to overall event attendance and commercial targets
