Lead manufacturing and project-engineering activities supporting the Gen 6 Assembly line at the Tonawanda facility.
The role will coordinate assembly equipment installation, production readiness, issue resolution, contractor and OEM interfaces, and G-Comply preparation through launch and sustained production.
Lead engineering execution for Gen 6 Assembly equipment installation, integration, commissioning, and readiness.
Coordinate daily activities across assembly manufacturing, maintenance, controls, safety, contractors, and OEM partners.
Drive closure of assembly-line installation issues, punch-list items, equipment conflicts, and schedule risks.
Support G-Comply planning, evidence readiness, and completion for assigned Assembly equipment and work areas.
Review Assembly layouts, equipment interfaces, access/egress, safeguarding, utilities, and installation plans.
Track Assembly milestones, constraints, actions, and escalation items; communicate status to leadership.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions affecting Assembly launch and sustained production.
Ensure work is executed in accordance with GM safety, quality, manufacturing, and engineering standards.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
Three or more years of relevant manufacturing, project, equipment-installation, or plant-engineering experience.

Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, risks, technical issues, and action closure.
Strong written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
