About the Role
CNH is seeking a Manufacturing Logistics Intern to support bill of material audit and review of usage at the Basildon Tractor Plant. The role involves verification of parts, liaison with engineering and logistics, and driving improvement in stock usage.

- Verification and review of parts and bill of material data sheets
- Identification of parts and alternative parts for use within the assembly process
- Liaise with Engineering and Logistics to facilitate suitable usage and consumption of parts
- Drive improvement in Quality and Reliability of product by enhancing stock usage and minimum/maximum stock holdings and consumption rates
Requirements
- Studying towards or holding a degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Workplace Organisation
- Experience with TeamCenter & BOM Systems
- Understanding of Vehicle Assembly and part consumption
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sigip
- Ability to learn new computer systems with ease
- Ability to work well both independently & as part of a team, taking lead roles where necessary
- Self Motivated, independently able to manage workload, excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication & presentation skills
- Ability to work at weekends to suit business needs

Job Purpose
- Reporting to the Logistics and Manufacturing teams, the main function of this role is support with the bill of material audit and review of usage.
