As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
• Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to improve workstation safety, ergonomics, manufacturability, labor efficiency, and gross margin across the Power Test and Loadbanks value stream
• Identify and prioritize engineering‐addressable hazards and implement engineered controls to reduce workplace risks
• Redesign processes, tooling, fixtures, and workstations to lower labor content and improve assembly consistency and repeatability
• Support value‐engineering, cost‐reduction, and lean manufacturing initiatives that enhance manufacturability and gross margin
• Conduct time studies, ergonomic assessments, and workflow analyses to quantify improvement opportunities
• Develop clear work instructions, standard operating procedures, and visual aids that support safe, efficient, and repeatable assembly processes
• Partner with EHS, Quality, and Production teams to validate safety improvements, process changes, and engineering solutions
• Drive measurable performance gains through structured analysis, implementation, and verification of manufacturing engineering improvements
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
• Contribute to projects that impact communities in Northfield, Owatonna, Dundas, Medford, Lakeville, Farmington, Waseca, and Lonsdale, and the greater Twin Cities metro area

Engineer I: $34.62–$40.38/hour
Engineer II: $38.46–$44.23/hour
Engineer III: $43.27–$49.04/hour
Senior Engineer: $46.63–$53.85/hour
Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available.
