Mobility Core (MC) team is part of the Network CTO organization that oversees the global mobile and fixed network technology direction for AT&T, which includes the design of the company’s 5G and IMS infrastructures.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, certification, testing, integration, and delivery of advanced Mobility Core network functions and Network Services applications, including IMS, messaging and voicemail platforms.
You will also support containerized network functions on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and Azure Public Cloud infrastructures.
Strong technical leadership experience in IMS, messaging and voicemail platforms, as well as cloud infrastructures.
Ability to lead architecture, design, integration, certification, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery activities as a hands-on technical contributor or technical team lead.
Strong understanding of virtualization, containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms including Nokia CloudBand, Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Nokia Container Services (NCS), and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with CI/CD workflows, automation, software delivery, Git, YAML, JSON, Python, Ansible, shell scripting, JavaScript, or Java.
Ability to supervise and mentor engineers, coordinate work across teams, support performance development, and ensure timely project delivery with quality and accountability.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Proven ability to operate in a blended technical leadership and people-management role.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to translate technical priorities into execution plans, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and drive delivery outcomes.
