What you’ll do day to day

Balance field and office collaboration: Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer meetings most often, at the customer location. When not in the field, sales employees are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location and place of work.

Prospect for new logos: Identify and pursue new business through customer prospect lists that will be provided and will enable the seller to cold call door knock, and email. The seller will also be able to leverage in-person customer meetings, work referrals, networking, and local market research.

Set appointments and create a pipeline: Build a consistent approach of customer outreach, qualify prospects, schedule customer meetings, and advance opportunities through the sales process.

Own your territory: Manage a defined geographic territory, prioritize target accounts, understand local business needs, and execute a market plan that supports consistent quota attainment.

Sell a broad business portfolio: Position AT&T solutions across wireless, fiber, internet, voice, software defined networking and cybersecurity.

Serve multiple customer segments: Engage small and mid-sized businesses across vertical industries such as retail, professional services, healthcare, construction, logistics, hospitality, and local multi-site operators.

Manage the full sales cycle: Move opportunities from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, close, implementation handoff, and follow-up.

Maintain disciplined CRM activity: Record calls, visits, appointments, opportunities, next steps, and forecast updates accurately and consistently.
