Role Summary
The Technology and Operations Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for clinical and business systems at C&W, particularly the Teck Acute Care Centre.
The role manages technology planning, external services, system initiatives, and staff direction for Inter Campus Operations.
The position is listed as temporary and full-time.
Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies, efficiency analyses, system planning, process design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Research technology and industry trends and recommend infrastructure, systems, applications, and technology investments.
- Manage vendor analysis, procurement, contract negotiations, system acquisitions, project plans, budgets, implementation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Supervise staff through coaching, mentoring, development, workload management, performance management, hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Ensure documentation, user procedures, downtime and disaster recovery procedures, training, and policy compliance for assigned applications.
Requirements
- Education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
