Role Overview
Lead one or more software engineering squads delivering secure, scalable, and highly available payment-network solutions.
The role uses Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop one or more software engineering squads.
- Own delivery, quality, operational readiness, and production outcomes for Java and Spring Boot services.
- Guide microservices, REST API, Kafka integration, and event-driven solution design and implementation.
- Manage capacity, hiring, performance development, career planning, and succession.
- Partner with product, architecture, quality engineering, operations, and dependent teams on priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Drive secure engineering, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, resiliency, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate delivery status, technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
