- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Build and strengthen internal and external relationships
- Identify and escalate risks, foster a positive learning culture, and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Eight years of professional experience in external audit
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Proficiency in Arabic Language

The Opportunity
- EY is looking for an Arabic speaking (Native) Manager or Senior Manager to join its Audit team at Doha office to lead on complex audit engagements and support business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of audit engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Senior Manager / Partner and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols.
- When required, personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements.
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Eight years of professional experience in external audit
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/ CPA/ CA
- Have experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Proficiency in Arabic Language
