Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Manager, Sales and Client Growth – Data based in any of our offices.

The Objective: The Manager, Sales and Client Growth – Data serves as a central steward of client and market intelligence for the Sales team, leveraging data, insights, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for client growth, relationship expansion, and new business development.

What will I do?

By partnering with teams across Business Development, Sales, and Operations to leverage internal and external data sources, this role supports the data systems and processes necessary to identify strategic opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue-generating initiatives.

Responsibilities

Data Management & Intelligence Develop and maintain data processes and procedures to capture relevant client information across the full life cycle of our clients’ growth. Manage and maintain key client information across all data platforms. Leverage both internal and external data sources to identify key sales and marketing opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Development Work across business units and practice groups to identify opportunities for relationship development and convergence-specific new business. Act as the liaison and data steward for the Sales and Client Development team across all other Sector and Market teams. Collaborate closely with BD Operations and Sector and Market leads to develop consistent data management practices. Strategic Reporting & Project Support Liaise with and collaborate with various firm departments including Marketing, Communications, Events, Research, Document Services, Special Projects, IT, Reports, Finance, and others for efficient delivery of work product, solutions, and strategic reporting in support of complex institutional projects. Support other key strategic projects as needed.

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.7+ years of related work experience. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong prioritization skills, including the ability to manage workload effectively and keep accurate, organized records. Superb verbal and written communication skills to interact with lawyers at all levels across the firm. Attention to detail; ensuring that data is consistently and accurately captured and described. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with colleagues across various departments and functions. Familiarity with data analysis. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with team members and drive involvement in data collection. Who is Orrick? Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is: New York City, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco $150,000 - $195,000 Washington DC, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica, Sacramento, Boston, and Seattle $130,000 - $170,000 All Other US Locations $120,000 - $155,000 Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
