About the role
Financeit is seeking a Manager of Risk Analytics and Modeling focused on forecasting.
The role delivers time-series models and forecasts, builds forecasting capabilities, operationalizes and automates processes, leads forecasting deep dives, and supports business decision-making.
What you will do
- Build unit economic, channel, borrower-level vintage, segment risk, and valuation models.
- Develop cashflow, profitability, time-series, and econometric forecasts for credit and fraud losses.
- Automate and deliver loss forecasts and supporting analysis on daily through annual schedules.
- Build explainable models connecting data with economic events, customer attitudes, and behaviors.
- Improve data sources, pipelines, automation, and applications of artificial intelligence.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and participate in risk analytics, data science, reporting, strategy, and operations initiatives.
- Document policies, strategies, datasets, and tools and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Required qualifications
- University degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, applied sciences, or finance.
- Five or more years of relevant full-time and/or internship or PEY experience in analytics, data science, strategy, risk management, or finance.
