Role overview
The role leads power system studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis for renewable energy, energy storage, and grid integration projects.
The position supports generation, transmission, and distribution project design and includes team leadership and delivery management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead network studies, study planning, task allocation, and delivery management.
- Execute load-flow, short-circuit, harmonic, steady-state, dynamic, and transient-stability studies.
- Build and validate models of generators, inverters, transformers, transmission lines, loads, and protection systems.
- Maintain model governance and validated model libraries.
- Develop single-line diagrams based on project requirements.
- Build and validate DIgSILENT models, perform testing, and support Python-based interface development.
- Validate use cases with stakeholders and recommend improvements to power system tools and solutions.
Education and experience
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems or Power Electronics.
- PhD is preferred.
- 10 or more years of professional experience in the Power Systems domain.
- Experience with renewable energy integration, including wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage systems.
