FPGA Power Tools Validation Engineer role focused on validating FPGA power analysis and estimation tools, models, and silicon behavior.
The role is based in Hyderabad and requires 4–10 years of experience or experience appropriate to project demand.
Required qualifications
- B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech degree.
- Experience with FPGA validation and debugging, FPGA power analysis and estimation, power measurement, and FPGA test execution and reporting.
- Proficiency with Vivado, Vitis, Python, TCL, Linux, ModelSim or Questa, Bash, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, PMBus, and I2C.
Responsibilities
- Execute validation activities for FPGA power analysis tools and features.
- Validate power estimation tools against FPGA power models and silicon behavior.
- Build and operate power measurement setups using power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and PMBus/I2C telemetry.
- Develop automated validation frameworks with Python, TCL, and Shell scripting.
- Perform regression testing, data collection, analysis, and validation reporting.
- Debug power issues and collaborate with design, architecture, and tools teams.
- Use AI tools and automation to improve validation efficiency.
