Manager, Portfolio Projects Delivery (1293)

Lead the delivery of SOPC projects by managing in progress monitoring, supporting risk management efforts, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.

Ensure that project activities align with SOPC’s strategic objectives and contribute to enhanced operational efficiency.

• Lead in the development and maintenance of project plans for assigned high-performance initiatives, define scope, approving timelines, allocating resources, and overseeing deliverables.
• Manage the execution of project tasks, ensuring activities stay on schedule and within budget while meeting quality standards.
• Oversee the coordination of daily project operations, monitoring milestones, and approving plans as needed to accommodate changes or new requirements.

• M onitor project performance against established KPIs, review progress updates, and escalate issues or deviations to senior leadership with recommended corrective actions.
• Ensure project documentation and oversee the preparation of status reports to keep stakeholders informed, supporting decision-making processes.
• Lead post-project evaluations, contribute to lessons learned and identifying areas for improvement in future projects.

• Establish and maintain project cost baselines in coordination with project owners, Finance, Procurement, and relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment between approved scope, budgets, delivery plans, and funding requirements.
• Monitor and control project financial performance throughout the lifecycle, including budgets, actual expenditure, commitments, accruals, forecasts, Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Estimate to Complete (ETC), identifying variances, cost pressures, potential overruns, and required corrective actions.
• Assess and monitor the financial impact of scope and schedule changes, variations, procurement decisions, project risks, purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, change requests, and invoices to identify potential budget or delivery impacts and support informed decision-making.
• Lead periodic project and portfolio financial reconciliation in coordination with Finance and relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment of budgets, actual expenditures, commitments, accruals, and forecasts; prepare consolidated cost reports and dashboards covering budget utilization, variances, financial risks, and funding requirements; and ensure final reconciliation against approved budgets as part of project financial close-out.

• Assess the allocation of portfolio resources and capacity requirements against project resources priorities, timeline, budget oversee , and tool management to ensure smooth project operations.
• A ssess ongoing resource needs across the portfolio and communicate these requirements to senior leadership as projects progress.

• Direct the identifying potential project risks and approve mitigation strategies, guiding team to proactively address risks across the portfolio .
• Oversee risk mitigation actions, and report on evolving risks to senior leadership, ensuring timely resolution.
• Take ownership resolving challenges that arise, directing the project team to keep activities aligned with the project’s goals.

• Lead stakeholder engagement by planning and chairing key meetings, gathering input, and communicating project updates senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Collect and incorporate stakeholder feedback to assist the senior leadership in achieving successful project outcomes.
• E nsure clear communication among stakeholders by regularly presenting updates on project status, potential risks, and key milestones.
