Working closely with colleagues throughout the university, we provide expert advice and support in academic policy, quality assurance, compliance, curriculum management, academic governance and student integrity.
Together, we drive continuous improvement, support strategic initiatives and help ensure the University maintains high academic standards while meeting its regulatory obligations.
The Manager, Policy Projects is responsible for leading priority policy development and review initiatives that support the University's higher education provider reregistration program. Working closely with the Director, Quality and Standards and senior stakeholders across the University, you will translate regulatory, governance and operational requirements into clear, practical and implementable policy solutions.
You will lead complex policy projects from design and consultation to approval, coordinating priorities, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes. The role plays an important part in strengthening institutional assurance and supporting the University's readiness for external review, with a primary focus on academic policy and opportunities to contribute to broader University policy initiatives.

A degree with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and training.
Experience leading complex policy development or review projects within a large and complex organisation, ideally within the higher education sector.
Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise and practical policies, procedures and business documentation.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage plans, timelines, risks, stakeholder engagement and reporting across multiple priorities.
Ability to interpret regulatory, governance and operational requirements and translate them into effective, implementable policy solutions.
