Team and Role Overview
Product Development takes apparel concepts through sampling, fitting, accurate product data, and production readiness.
The team works cross-functionally with Design, Concept, Fit, Quality, Merchandising, Sourcing, Raw Materials, and Go To Market operations.
Lead Pattern Engineers creating and refining women's garment patterns for fit, comfort, quality, and brand aesthetics.
Pattern Engineering Leadership
- Lead pattern development from design or technical development through production-ready product.
- Provide guidance on pattern engineering techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Oversee refinements based on fit sessions, designer feedback, and technical requirements.
- Support pattern making through 3D, draping, and flat patternmaking methods.
Team and Workload Management
- Assign styles and manage team workload in partnership with the Technical Design Manager.
- Mentor team members and build capabilities in technology integration and craftsmanship.
- Create development calendars for in-season, out-of-season, and concept work.
- Lead business initiatives focused on achieving the right product fit.
