- Manage critical safety information to issue navigational warnings
- Liaise with Hydrographic Offices to provide nautical information
- Update nautical charts and publications
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Navigational Services team
Requirements
- 8 years in navigational services or a related area
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Education, or a related field
- Experience in maritime regulations and navigational systems
- Certificate from any IMO approved organization

Job Purpose
- The role is responsible for overseeing the monitoring and maintenance of navigational aids within Dubai waters.
- This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the review and approval of Maritime Activities Permits and NOCs requests, ensuring strict compliance with local and federal laws and regulations.
- Manage the Arrival and Departure Notifications of Vessels thru Sail Services platform.
- Drive the monitoring and maintenance of navigational aids within Dubai waters, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other Emirates and Federal Maritime Authority to deliver consistent and harmonized navigational services across the UAE.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections across Dubai waters and prepare necessary inspection reports.
- Manage critical safety information to promptly issue navigational warnings.
- Liaise with Hydrographic Offices, including the UK Office, to provide essential nautical information.
- Update nautical charts and publications, supporting both commercial and leisure maritime activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and safety of navigational services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Navigational Services team, ensuring high performance and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on navigational activities and incidents to senior management.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance navigational services.
Required Qualification
- 8 years in navigational services or a related area.
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working in areas of maritime regulations and navigational systems
- Certificate from any IMO approved organization.
