- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and MSAs
- Monitor and ensure compliance with consumer protection, e commerce regulations, advertising standards, and data privacy laws
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Support internal teams in managing disputes, litigation, and regulatory inquiries
- Assist in developing internal policies and SOPs for ecommerce operations
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide legal guidance
Requirements
- Experience in commercial contracts, technology, data protection, and consumer law
- Knowledge of UAE, KSA, and GCC data laws
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross functionally with tech, marketing, finance, and customer service

Role Overview
- Seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Legal Counsel to support fast paced ecommerce operations.
- Provide strategic legal counsel across commercial, technology, data protection, and consumer law matters.
Contract Management & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, marketplace agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and MSAs.
- Ensure contracts align with business objectives while protecting legal interests.
Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor and ensure compliance with consumer protection, e commerce regulations, advertising standards, and data privacy laws.
- Advise on cross border legal implications for digital transactions.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support internal teams in managing disputes, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
Corporate Governance & Policy Development
- Assist in developing internal policies and SOPs for ecommerce operations.
- Support governance initiatives such as digital onboarding of legal tools and automation of contract lifecycle management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including tech, marketing, finance, and customer service.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
