About the Role

  • SGCG Capital Markets is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Manager – Institutional Sales & Distribution to support investor coverage, capital raising, business origination and fundraising activities across a growing investment platform.
  • This is a client facing role focused on developing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, banks, asset managers and strategic partners, whilst supporting the distribution of investment opportunities and the execution of fundraising initiatives.
  • Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in building investor networks, generating opportunities and supporting the growth of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, banks, asset managers and strategic partners.
  • Support fundraising, capital raising and investment distribution activities.
  • Identify and develop new business and investor opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective investors and strategic relationships.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, roadshows and due diligence sessions.
  • Support transaction execution and investor onboarding activities.
  • Manage CRM activity, investor pipelines and relationship tracking.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to progress opportunities through to execution.

Experience & Background

  • 5–7 years' experience within institutional sales, capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, private credit, asset management, investor relations, alternative investments or broader financial services.
  • Experience engaging with institutional investors and sophisticated investment clients.
  • Experience supporting capital raising, fundraising, debt placement, investor relations, investment distribution or transaction related activities.
  • Strong understanding of institutional investor engagement, fundraising processes and capital markets activities.
  • Existing relationships across family offices, institutional investors, asset managers, banks, DFIs or investment funds would be highly advantageous.
  • Strictly Western, UK and European candidates will be considered for the position.
  • UAE market experience preferred.
