Job Purpose
- To manage and control all departmental activities in accordance with company`s policies and procedures by establishing effective interfaces with all departments within the company and outside agencies to ensure that the safety of all employees and equipment meets international, industrial, and governmental standards.
- To ensure security of the plant & employees by enforcing the regulations & Policies. To manage and maintain the certified Environmental management System according to the International standard ISO 14001. To manage the implementation of Energy management system for certification
Principal Accountabilities
- Annual EHSS& EnMS(Environment, Health, Safety , Security& Energy Management System) Planning
- Ensure that all Certified & other standards, specifications and manuals are adequately maintained and updated to ensure all conform to the approved industry and international standards and are in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Leads the process for hazard identification, evaluation and control process internally and externally through liaising with the Senior Management, Department Managers and also with the local law enforcement agencies.
- Manages EHS&S risks, aspects & impacts through proper coordination between various departments and implementing highest EHS&S standards, thus bringing down the insurance premium for the Company.
- Leads investigations of all EHS&S incidents I accidents including near misses. Analysis of accidents and identify trends, vulnerabilities and liabilities that may be avoided by preventive techniques and procedures.
