Job Location
- The project is located in Abu Dhabi, Habshan.
Contract Duration
- The stated contract duration is 12–18 months, with potential extension if work scope remains available.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for project documentation management.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documents and information.
- Follow company and client documentation procedures and standards.
- Manage vendor documentation and submission workflows.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards related to documents.
- Manage technical documents for assigned projects, including quality, revision status, receipt, and distribution.
- Manage the company document control system and ensure accurate, timely information flow.
- Verify file metadata and ensure timely document distribution.
- Track circulation durations and distribution cycles and report delays affecting project delivery.
- Collaborate with the document control team for efficient document management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, information technology, business, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in the Document Controller position or equivalent work.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Previous experience with an electronic document control system is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while focusing on deadlines and priorities.
