About the Role
A leading bank in Qatar seeks a Manager for FTP Control to own the end-to-end Funds Transfer Pricing framework and system. The role involves system configuration, monthly production runs, and providing insights to ALCO and business teams.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end to end FTP process, ensuring full adherence to the bank’s approved FTP Policy and governance framework
- Act as business owner of the FTP system, including system configuration, curve construction, product mapping, and parameter maintenance
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and external consultants to implement system enhancements and ensure data integrity
- Manage the monthly FTP production run end to end — ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and robust reconciliations and controls
- Provide FTP insights and analysis to ALCO, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Business teams to support pricing and balance sheet decisions
- Partner with business units to explain FTP impacts on product and customer profitability
- Act as the key point of contact for Internal Audit, External Audit, and Regulators on all FTP related matters
- Periodically review and recommend enhancements to the FTP methodology to reflect changes in balance sheet structure, market conditions, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5 6 years of relevant experience in banking with strong exposure to Funds Transfer Pricing, ALM, Treasury, or Balance Sheet Management
- Hands on experience with FTP systems and methodologies (system configuration, curve construction, product mapping)
- Strong understanding of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and funding economics
- Experience engaging with ALCO, Internal Audit, External Audit, and/or Regulators on FTP matters
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- Highly analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership in a structured environment

- Our client is a leading bank in the region with a mandate to hire a specialist Manager – FTP Control within their Group Finance division.
- This is a high ownership, technically demanding role sitting at the intersection of Treasury, Finance, and Risk — responsible for the end to end management of the bank’s Funds Transfer Pricing framework and system.
- The role plays a critical part in pricing discipline, profitability analysis, and ALCO decision making.
