Role Overview
The Forward Deployed Engineer closes the gap between generative AI prototypes and measurable real-world organizational impact.
The role combines field engineering, AI adoption, technical delivery, and change management for client organizations.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and translate them into deployable AI solutions.
- Design and implement LLM systems including autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
- Integrate solutions with APIs, databases, and existing business tools.
- Support adoption through training, evangelization, stakeholder iteration, and continuous improvement.
- Bridge technical teams and business decision-makers by translating complexity into value.
Internal Contributions
- Contribute to generative AI, agent, and automation research.
- Develop training, working groups, and internal or external materials.
- Support publication activities such as sector blogs, studies, and press engagements.
- Support business development by defining client needs and participating in commercial activities.
