Role Overview
The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for partner financial reporting, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
The role also supports technical accounting, purchase accounting, integration of new entities, and implementation of evolving accounting standards.
Financial Reporting and Close
- Integrate accounting data for accounting upload companies and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other close-related activities.
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
- Review financial results and investigate significant or unusual variances.
- Reconcile and settle intercompany accounts.
- Prepare partner distribution schedules considering accounting, tax, legal, and policy requirements.
Technical Accounting
- Ensure divisional compliance with accounting guidance from the corporate technical accounting team.
- Support accounting for business combinations and acquisitions, including purchase accounting, goodwill, and opening balance sheet preparation.
