Join KPMG Canada's National Financial Crimes Centre of Excellence to help clients manage AML, sanctions, anti-corruption, and anti-tax evasion risks.
The Manager will lead financial crime analytics engagements, teams, client delivery, model work, and technology-driven compliance initiatives.
Engagement and team leadership
- Coordinate and manage client engagements focused on financial crime analytics.
- Lead Consultants and Senior Consultants and ensure deliverable quality meets KPMG standards and client needs.
- Manage engagement risks, supervise teams, provide guidance and training, and mentor junior team members.
Analytics and model work
- Lead the design, validation, review, optimization, and audit of AML, sanctions, customer risk, statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence models.
- Lead tuning, segmentation, and threshold calibration to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Use SQL, Python, R, and other programming languages to test systems and models, perform statistical analysis, and summarize findings.
