FDM is seeking a Manager, Engineering located in Ontario, Kitchener, Toronto and or Waterloo to support a project in the Banking sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 6 months but may be extended.
This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

About The Role

FDM is seeking a Manager, Engineering located in Ontario, Kitchener, Toronto and or Waterloo to support a project in the Banking sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 6 months but may be extended.
This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.
About You
3-5 Years Previous hands-on engineering experience in Java (java, springboot, react, etc.)_
3-5 years of People management overseeing a team of at least 6-9 engineers
Be comfortable reading code still and to question architecture/solutions
Communication skills, be able to communicate to leadership teams like myself as well as product teams.
Translating technical jargon to simple language
Ability to properly manage team and individual workloads to ensure projects hit deadlines senior with more technical experience hands on engineering experience
Bachelors degree in a STEM field like Computer science, math, engineering discipline Industry experience in Tech, Banking, or Telecom
