Responsibilities
Team Lead Electrical Switchyard & Transformer
Strategic Planning:
Provide inputs for strategic and tactical planning in conjunction with peers for electrical maintenance of Switchyard, Power Transformer, and associated areas.
Lead and oversee proactive planning and execution of systems to prevent future problems and ensure efficient and reliable maintenance.
Participate in cross-site knowledge sharing, conclaves, and seminars to align with industry best practices.
Maintenance Strategy and Operations:
Review and update SMPs, JSAs, and SOPs, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
Perform planning, scheduling and execution of shutdowns, annual overhauling, and maintenance projects.
Manage the implementation of improvement projects for Switchyard, Power Transformer and other associated areas through adoption of newer technologies.
Plan and monitor the timely completion of PM, CM, and condition monitoring.
Manage testing of electrical equipment for safety and reliability.
Track and ensure timely updation and closure of notifications on SAP.
Resource and Inventory Management:
Monitor the availability and functionality of all switchyard equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, and earthing systems.
Manage spares inventory and develop vital indigenous spares including radiators, bushings, Turret CT, Circuit brakers, CT, PT, CVT, isolators, relays etc.
Plan and manage timely repairing and refurbishment activities for associated area equipment.
Approve PRs raised by Leads and coordinate with Techno Commercial department for efficient procurement.

Work Experience (Range of years):
15+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power distribution.
