Overview

The Tony Blair Institute's Geopolitics practice helps political leaders and governments translate systemic shifts in the global order into concrete strategic advantage from strengthening bilateral and regional engagements to positioning on AI, technology, and economic transformation.

The Manager will be a core member of the Geopolitics practice, supporting a high-impact government advisory engagement based in the UAE, with an expected commitment of c.2 years working closely with a senior executive-level client.

The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional capable of producing rigorous, research-driven insights that directly inform strategic decision-making at the highest levels of government.

This is a role for someone who combines strong research discipline and analytical precision with the ability to operate in a small, high-performing team.

The successful candidate will work across a blend of macroeconomic, technological (including AI), and geopolitical issues, delivering outputs that range from high-level strategic advisory to deep-dive analytical work.

The emphasis is on intellectual rigor, structured thinking, and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
