Longview is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced engineer professional to lead the design and engineering of transmission projects alongside a fast-growing, highly-skilled team. As Manager/Director Transmission Engineering, you will be responsible for the technical design of extra-high voltage transmission projects. You will:
Optimize the selection of structures, conductors, spotting, and foundations
Review and approve consultant and contractor design packages including design criteria, structure families, substation general arrangements, equipment selection and material/construction specifications
Develop and maintain Longview’s engineering standards
Innovate and optimize cutting edge designs and technologies
