Manager - Central Quality
Pune, Pune, IN
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management & Control: Lead and manage the Quality Control function for BESS products, including:Containerized Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS),Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery Packs,Hybrid/Bidirectional Inverters,Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and UPS Systems
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs aimed at achieving Zero Customer Complaints.
- Prepare quality improvement plans and monitor their effectiveness through periodic reviews and corrective actions.
- Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) in coordination with suppliers and finalize Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
- Ensure incoming material quality through robust receipt inspection processes and quality monitoring systems.
- Investigate quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Supplier Quality Management
Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive quality excellence and continuous improvement.
Assess suppliers' technical capabilities, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational competencies.
Conduct supplier audits, evaluations, and periodic performance assessments to ensure compliance with business requirements.
Drive supplier quality improvement programs focusing on product reliability, process capability, and defect reduction.
Resolve supplier-related quality concerns through structured root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
