Role overview
The role implements anti-bribery and corruption and financial crime compliance activities and supports continuous improvement of related programmes and controls.
The role covers ABC risk assessments, whistleblowing activities, financial crime reporting, regulatory compliance, and ethical conduct initiatives.
ABC risk assessment methodology
- Own, maintain, and periodically review the ABC risk assessment methodology.
- Maintain the risk taxonomy, inherent risk factors, control effectiveness criteria, scoring model, risk appetite thresholds, and residual risk rating scale.
- Obtain governance approval for material methodology changes.
- Define annual assessment scope across business units, products, services, channels, processes, geographies, and third-party relationships.
- Ensure alignment with applicable laws, SAMA requirements, the Counter-Fraud Framework, and enterprise risk management requirements.
Annual assessment cycle
- Deliver the ABC risk assessment cycle according to the annual compliance programme, including its calendar, resources, milestones, and dependencies.
- Design and issue assessment questionnaires, control self-assessment templates, and data requests.
- Lead assessment workshops and interviews with business and control function representatives.
