Role Overview
Blakes is seeking a Manager, AI Learning & Adoption for its Professional Development & Learning team in Toronto.
The manager leads technology-focused learning programs and advances the firm's generative AI strategy.
The role combines learning strategy, instructional design, facilitation, adoption, change management, stakeholder engagement, and team and vendor coordination.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-directed programs on generative AI and firm technologies.
- Advance AI and technology adoption through training, awareness campaigns, resources, communities of practice, and support.
- Facilitate AI and technology training for lawyers, students, business professionals, and new hires across offices.
- Partner with technology, innovation, practice group, and business services stakeholders to identify learning needs.
- Create learning materials such as guides, job aids, videos, FAQs, quick references, and e-learning modules.
- Develop role-based learning pathways and curricula for onboarding, upskilling, responsible AI use, and continuous learning.
- Support technology implementations and upgrades with training, communications, coaching, change management, and just-in-time learning.
- Measure learning effectiveness using feedback, usage metrics, assessments, and adoption data.
