Salary and Bonus
- The salary range is CAD 149,600 to CAD 182,800 annually.
- The annual bonus target is 15% of base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target based on personal and company performance.
- Salary is determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution, and internal equity.
About the Role
Intact is seeking a Manager for National Pricing Personal Lines, a team focused on interpreting results, producing pricing indications, and understanding market trends and outlook.
The role reports to the Actuarial Director and supports strategy for Corporate Personal Lines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze actuarial reports and formulate recommendations to improve product and service performance.
- Manage team evaluation, development, coaching, planning, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical advice on product rating, reserves, financial projections, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent actuarial work in committees and serve as a contact for other business units.
Requirements
- University degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience, including 2 years of coaching experience as a major asset.
- FCAS designation is an asset.
- Strong actuarial techniques, communication, strategic decision-making, planning, and organizational skills are required.
- For candidates in Quebec, English and French bilingualism is required.
