About the Role

Intact is seeking a Manager for National Pricing Personal Lines, a team focused on interpreting results, producing pricing indications, and understanding market trends and outlook.

The role reports to the Actuarial Director and supports strategy for Corporate Personal Lines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze actuarial reports and formulate recommendations to improve product and service performance.
  • Manage team evaluation, development, coaching, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical advice on product rating, reserves, financial projections, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent actuarial work in committees and serve as a contact for other business units.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience, including 2 years of coaching experience as a major asset.
  • FCAS designation is an asset.
  • Strong actuarial techniques, communication, strategic decision-making, planning, and organizational skills are required.
  • For candidates in Quebec, English and French bilingualism is required.
