As the Global Sales Account Unit Director, you will lead the overarching sales strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
You will oversee a team of high-performing sales professionals across sectors and geographies, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions.
Your role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, establishing robust client relationships, and enhancing organizational synergies.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with organizational objectives and cybersecurity trends.
- Identify and target potential customers to expand the client base and establish new business opportunities.
- Cultivate connections with potential leads through diverse communication platforms, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Comprehend customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to customize product or service solutions accordingly.
- Lead the management and prioritization of leads within the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient follow-up and closing.
- Conduct impactful sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, acting as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity solutions.
- Work in tandem with the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals, driving collective success.
- Provide valuable insights to improve sales strategies, product development, and go-to-market approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, delivery, and channel partners, to develop and execute comprehensive client solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums to enhance visibility, branding, and thought leadership.
- Leverage insights from internal business units and external partnerships to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 12-15+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales, account management, or business development.
- Proven success in leading regional sales teams ; Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work across sales, marketing, technical, and channel teams to deliver results.
- Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of quotas
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields; MBA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and partner ecosystems.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance analytics.
