Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages the work of all department supervisors.
- Manages and supervises all hourly employees, visitors, and contractors working in the assigned department and/or area of responsibility; also, when working outside of regular hours, on weekends, and holidays.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion of all production activities in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure timely achievement of the goals set for each year.
- Train, coach, and mentor supervisors and all hourly employees.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of all direct reports.
- Liaise with Maintenance Manager to ensure timely completion of the PMs.
- Lead investigations of all internal and external complaints.
- Adhere to and enforce health and safety rules and protocols.
- Conduct production floor survey and ensure bottlenecks removal.
- Manage department consumables.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the assigned CSR.
- Enforce quality program standards and records keeping requirements.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities.
- Ensure productivity levels and all operational objectives are met.
- Review and track inventory of materials.
- Maintain production reports.
- Develop and/or revise SOPs and safe work protocols.
- Conduct periodic observations in the work areas to enforce health & safety standards.
- Review and approve personnel time records on a daily basis.
- Use Kaizen continuous improvement methods to achieve goals.
- Monitor and maintain SAP production reports.
- Promote and maintain the value of order philosophy and activities.
