Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Slitter Operator (Operator A) on 1st shift our Conover, NC manufacturing plant.
This position is responsible for operating of slitter machine to ensure material complies with customer specifications.
Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence.
As the Slitter Operator, you will be expected to operate the slitter to ensure maximum usage of bun/sheet stock material with a minimal generation of trim material.
Responsible for the safe operation of a specific piece of equipment used in the manufacturing of components and/or finished products for internal and external customers as defined by a daily production schedule.
Operate Bun Railing Saw and other bun slicing saws.
Perform cutting operations according to programs and customer specifications.
Maintain and help with consistent production flow.
