THE POSITION
- The Bureau of Financial Operations is looking for a Management Analyst 2 to support key billing and reimbursement work for facilities across the state.
- The role involves reviewing system data, fixing reporting issues, and improving tools that support mental health and intellectual disability services.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
- Analyze electronic data processing programs and respond to technical requests to maintain smooth billing operations.
- Conduct testing on systems and recommend needed revisions or additions.
- Provide on site technical assistance and install hardware systems when needed.
- Prepare instructions and training materials and lead training sessions for reimbursement office personnel.
- Survey staff to gather information, identify process issues, and propose ways to improve efficiency.
- Post deposits to SAP, manage related documentation, and generate daily financial records.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday Friday, with a 30 minute lunch.
- Telework: opportunity to work from home part time, up to 3 days per week; in office training required.
- Must have a securely configured high speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) OR two years of experience in technical management analysis work and a bachelor's degree OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must meet PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
