We operate in an FDA-regulated, cGMP and HACCP-compliant facility running 24 hours a day. Our Maintenance team is the backbone of our production floor — without reliable equipment, nothing ships. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all production, packaging, cooking, and facility equipment at Gummi World operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This individual performs preventative maintenance, diagnoses and resolves mechanical and electrical failures, supports new equipment installation and qualification, and partners with production teams to minimize downtime. The role spans three levels over time but we are currently looking for a Technician I — each requiring progressively deeper technical expertise, independence, and leadership. All levels are expected to be hands-on, safety-first, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused every shift.
Basic mechanical aptitude — hand tools, fasteners, lubrication, basic inspections
Follows preventative maintenance schedules under supervision
Performs basic equipment cleaning, adjustments, and part replacement with guidance
Learns and follows LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures

Technical degree, trade school certification, or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems is strongly preferred.
Military maintenance MOS or equivalent technical training is highly valued.
Starting pay is typically $22.00/hour minimum.
This role is full-time, hourly non-exempt.
See Level I / II / III requirements above. Experience in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or FDA-regulated cGMP manufacturing environment is strongly preferred for all levels.
Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC.
Experience with mechanical fabrication, welding, or construction-level facility work is a plus at all levels.
PLC troubleshooting — Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar
Electrical diagnostics: single & three-phase systems
Motor controls, VFDs, soft starters
Pneumatic & hydraulic system repair
HVAC maintenance & diagnostics
Precision hand tool and power tool proficiency
Reading schematics, wiring diagrams & P&IDs
Conveyor, packaging & filling equipment
CMMS / NetSuite work order management
IQ/OQ/PQ qualification documentation
Welding / fabrication (plus at all levels)
Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) — required; training provided if not current.
Electrical license or journeyman card — preferred at Technician II and III.
HVAC certification (EPA 608) — preferred at Technician II and III.
Forklift / scissor lift / aerial work platform certification — preferred; training available.
GMP and food safety certification — required; provided upon hire.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 — preferred at Technician III.
