All Oil Sands Operations sites have full-service camp facilities and recreational amenities.
Depending on your place of residence and your shift rotation, bus and/or air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations.
Foster Creek is serviced by flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton as well as bus transportation to site from La Corey, AB.
Christina Lake, Christina Lake North and Sunrise have service flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton. Saskatoon will become a service flight hub effective September 1, 2026. There will also be bus transportation to these sites from La Corey, AB / Lac La Biche, AB effective September 1, 2026.
Ensure effective maintenance of industrial equipment.
Deliver results for PM and PDM program.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Interpret drawings and use appropriate codes and follow installation standards and practices.
Examine process flow drawings, equipment lists and specifications for reference purposes and for determining work procedures.
Provide support and technical advice to facilities engineering and project personnel.
Champion Cenovus safety initiatives and lead/participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and kickoff meetings
Utilizes an appropriate balance of "doing" and "leading" to achieve team goals
Identify and drive improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost.
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Minimum Journeyma n Millwright and 2 years’ experience.
Dual ticket certification for Pipefitter or Machining would be considered an asset.
Proficiency in CMMS software (SAP).

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
